White Rose Medical Centre

White Rose Medical Centre is a practice of 8,500 patients based in New Tredegar in Caerphilly, with branches in Deri and Fochriw.

After the simultaneous retirement of three single-handed GPs in 2003, Caerphilly Local Health Board was left to manage the practices under emergency regulations. Since late 2004, under a new GMS contract, we amalgamated the practices and introduced a full range of services.

By March 2007, QoF achievement had risen from virtually nil to the upper quartile in Wales, and we are pleased that a partnership of GPs from the salaried doctor team now runs the practice independently from BK Health.
